Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm is definitely a fall day trip for the family. Spend the day to ride the train, go through the corn maze, watch pig races, pet some farm animals, climb Coyote Mountain, play in Fort ALotaFun, and don’t forget your pumpkin. Admission is free, but there is a parking fee on weekends.

Cardanini’s Pumpkin Patch – Placerville

This is one of the many Apple Hill pumpkin patch favorites. Wander through a 5-acre pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin. Also find a corn maze, haunted log cabin, and store with locally made foods and gifts.

Cool Patch Pumpkins – Dixon

Look for the Milk Farm sign off of Highway 80 in Dixon to bring you to Cool Patch Pumpkins’ 45-acre farm. It’s complete with a 50+ acre corn maze, which is a 2007 Guinness Book of World Records holder, pedal carts, Native American village, snack shack, and grass maze for toddlers and preschoolers.

Dell’Osso Family Farm – Lathrop
Another good fall day trip with the family. Pumpkins and a corn maze are just the beginning at this Stockton area pumpkin patch. For the more adventurous spirit, there’s a haunted castle, mystery tour ride, aerial ropes course, and zip lines. For younger kids, and the less adventurous, there’s a train ride, gem mining, jumping pillows, and more.

Silveyville Pumpkin Farm – Dixon
Farm animals, duck pond, go kart rides and more can be found at Silveyville Pumpkin Farm in Dixon, CA in addition to a variety of pumpkins. Also stop by the gift boutique for crafts and homemade treats.
